Terms
Terms of Use
These terms apply when you use this website, its PDF Password Remover and its developer API. By using them, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
1. Your responsibility for your files
- Only process PDFs that you own or are authorised to modify, and only use passwords you are entitled to use.
- The tool removes a password you already know. It is not intended for, and must not be used for, accessing documents you have no right to open or change.
- You are responsible for how you use and share the unlocked copy.
2. Prohibited use
You must not:
- use the service for anything unlawful or to infringe others’ rights;
- upload malware or files designed to harm or overload the service;
- send automated or bulk requests to the website’s tool, or try to get around rate limits or API quotas;
- interfere with, probe or attack the service or its infrastructure.
We may block requests or deactivate API keys involved in abuse.
3. How processing works and its limits
- The website tool processes PDFs in your browser, on your device; the developer API processes PDFs on our server. See the Privacy Policy.
- Some files cannot be processed — for example damaged PDFs, unsupported encryption types (such as certificate-based security), files over 100 MB, or files too large for your device’s memory.
- The unlocked copy contains the document’s pages. Some document-level features, such as bookmarks, form fields, attachments or digital signatures, may not be preserved.
- Always keep your original file. Check the unlocked copy before relying on it.
4. Availability
- The service is free and provided on a best-effort basis.
- It may be slow, unavailable or interrupted — for example, the PDF engine must download before the first unlock, and the developer API server can take a few seconds to start after a quiet period.
- We may change, limit or discontinue any part of the service at any time.
5. Developer API
API keys are created on the API docs page and are subject to the daily limit shown there. Keep your API secret private; you are responsible for requests made with your key. We may change limits or deactivate keys that are misused.
6. Your content and advertising
You keep all rights to the files you process; we claim no ownership of them. The source includes an environment-gated Google AdSense loader, currently disabled in checked-in settings. If enabled, advertising practices are described in the Privacy Policy.
7. No warranty and limitation of liability
The service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, including that it will be error-free, uninterrupted or suitable for a particular purpose.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or inability to use, the service — including loss of data, corrupted or incomplete output files, or reliance on an unlocked copy. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have that cannot be limited by law.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms as the service changes; the date below shows the latest update. Questions: saikrishnachaitanya61@gmail.com.
